Events for Flint's Future Now

Flint's Future Now rotates the location of public forums and service activities to every ward of the city, because we know that it will take people of all ages and races working together for Flint to have a bright future. Steering committee meetings are open door and take place the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at 940 S. Grand Traverse in Flint.

WEEKLY COMMON HOURS

Many of the people active in the Flint's Future Now coalition attend the weekly Common Hours on Thursdays at 5 p.m. at Good Beans Café, 328 N. Grand Traverse St. in Flint. This happy hour with a cause brings together students, neighborhood residents, leaders, business owners and anyone who wants to see Flint's greater downtown be a bustling, diverse, 21st Century core of the region.

JOBS NOW PUBLIC FORUM

Jobs and the economy are our most pressing issue. So many people have been unemployed for so long it is like we are used to it—and it has to stop. Flint's Future Now is organizing a public forum to discuss strategies and to dedicate ourselves to a positive course of action. Date and location TBD.

CANDIDATES FORUM

Flint's Future Now is looking to partner with other community organizations to hold forums for candidates for various local elections.

T-SHIRT SALE
