It will take people of all ages and races working together for Flint to have a bright
future and no one exemplifies this more than the late Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
Every year Flint's Future Now honors the holiday for Dr. King by organizing voter registration
drives. The freezing temperatures in 2008 did not stop the celebration. Voters were registered
and the National Memorial to Dr. King in Washington, DC was unveiled to the Flint audience in
partnership with WDZZ 92.7 FM.
